  • An evolving and bespoke set of topics centring around gardening, community, the body, emotions, feminism, philosophy, and inclusivity. Get in touch to tailor the topics to suit your group’s interest.

• “What are we talking about when we talk about gardens and well-being?”

  • A critical look at poor practice in demonstrating the well-being benefits of horticultural activities, and a positive, evidence-based approach to go forward!

• “Cultivating Critical Thinking”

  • How to design and document critical thinking learning outcomes for gardening in schools, forest school programmes, and student experience activities.

Academic Conference & Workshop Organisation

I aim to make my events maximally inclusive and consistent with the BPA-SWIP Good Practice Scheme: starting no earlier than 10am, an hour for lunch and half hour for breaks, nourishing food, and an atmosphere fit for humans.
