2 day introduction to Permaculture with Jo Barker
Join us over two Fridays: 18th and 25th October from 9:30 to 12:30pm
Permaculture Design can help us find 'kind' solutions for any issues, literally anything. Inspired by principles originally found in natural systems. We will explore the basics of Permaculture. What is it? How do we do it? We will cover the Permaculture Principles, Permaculture Ethics. We will have a practical Permaculture activity and a Permaculture design session. Most people think it is about a way of gardening. It is and much more. We will cover gardening as that is still what most people want and we will cover our homes and relations too.
Permaculture helps us with solutions for climate action, increasing wildlife, wellbeing and solutions towards a future we would want for our children and the generations that will come after them.
Jo has decades of experience as a Permaculture Educator, Designer, Gardener, Healer and Forager. Including 100’s of Urban and rural community projects. Jo holds a Diploma in Applied Permaculture Design. Professional qualifications in Landscape Architecture, Kinesiology and Life Coaching also with the RHS. Jo is the founder of Future Food Forests CIC and has won awards in Climate Action and Wildlife Garden design.
